The Practice on Designing Materials for Teaching and Learning AWL

I have chosen 5 words from AWL (Coxhead, 2000) and provided vocabulary teaching instructions for EFL teachers. Here, I follow the Presentation, Practice and Produce (PPP) method and teacher can use those instructions for Bangladeshi rural undergraduate students. In the presentation part, teacher can give the pictures and show the videos to the students to guess the context and words and then introduce words and give definitions as well. And then students will do the practices and produce some sentences and text to use those words.

  1. Whenever you produced something, it really looked good and even this one, is also a very concise yet a very informative work. However, you might have forgotten that the students for whom you've prepared the material, they don't have access to technology or internet(according to the instructions of ZOA sir). Hence, giving them the instruction to browse those vocabulary learning web-sites is not something you can afford to in this task. Even at some point of you writing, the mashup of the exercises seems to be a little confusing and unsuitable for me for the target group of learners . Apart from that, It's a decent job. Thanks.

  3. Thank you for your comment but there are some controversial factors are coming out from your comment. So far I can remember sir gave us the instruction in our facebook group where he mentioned that the undergraduate rural students are the target learners. And also he mentioned that students have all the facilities to browse internet. But my classmates write their reviews to remember the class instruction not follow the facebook group instruction where sir clearly stated that undergraduate rural students with internet facility. And I did not mashup the exercises but put them separately to follow the order without mentioning that because the target learners are from undergraduate level, they are not from school or college. But I put some clue as well that could help them to solve those. And you always suggest me and recommend me . I am grateful to you. Thank you again.
